Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28 in 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most well-known performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble), who works as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She has been blessed with three brothers. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and often would leave her house in order to perform. She studied acting from the age of 13 at the Wooster School.
