Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach California on 22 March 1989 is one of America's most renowned and richest Pole Vaulters. A photo of her in a track event for 17 year olds became viral in 2007 and made her the pole vaulter of her dreams. She has gained a huge social following on Instagram and Twitter. She's a track and field player similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times noted, amongst others the fact that Stokke wasn't seeking nor encouraging such attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society compared Stokke's circumstance with that of American women athletes in soccer, Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. The authors stated that their sporting achievements were discredited because of the demeaning and sexualization of their images. Stokke was also a target of comments made on social media that were insulting and the authors attributed this sexualization process entirely on the women. Others women made a connection to Brandi's celebration of her sports bra after she won the FIFA Women's World Cup back in 1999. The women claimed that debates about appearance were a distraction from sporting events that women enjoyed. Stokke was taken in New York by a Californian reporter working for an online track and event website during the first half of 2007. With Leather, a popular sports website that attracts a lot of male readers and re-posted the image in May under the title Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford was threatened by the photographer that he would take legal action if he did not take down the image. However, the article, received significant media attention and was then shared on dozens of websites. Stokke became the main subject of a dedicated website to her, which featured several photos of Stokke competing in pole vault. These images quickly spread across social media as well as online fan clubs, attracting thousands of people. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She was determined to finish her Florida the high school. She graduated in 1974. her high school graduation, but took a different approach by doing an internship. Alyce is a cousin of a sister who is a highly respected instructor. Her family members provide financial support for her. The family of Alyce's lives in Texas because her father works in the U.S. Army. Within three years the family celebrated dad's anniversary on his 92nd birthday. Alyce used social media to share an amazing photo of her daughter as well as pay tribute to the sacrifice her father made for her father's work in the U.S. Army. Alyce's daughter is also concerned with her education. She was awarded the National Merit scholarship at the University of Washington and was able to celebrate her 22nd birthday on 2022.
