Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was a teenager when she worked in Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. Originally from Texas Killmer was one of the students at Baylor University in Waco Texas and graduated with the B.F.A. In performing arts, her degree was obtained in 2010. She started her acting career in the year 2010 when she starred in Simon Fuller's web series, If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer's screen career started in the year 2010 when she appeared on the pilot episode of Simon Fuller's Hulu television show If I Can Dream. The show centers around an ensemble of actors who live in an Hollywood California house.
