Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria at the time of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. At the age of 16, she quit school and pursued a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began in the early years of her life.
